THE PROBLEM SPACE

Every sale touches more than the till.

Sales records, stock levels, customer balances and operating expenses need to stay connected. TindahanGo is designed for businesses managing these everyday tasks across staff, locations and devices.

Its focus is practical: recording transactions, seeing low stock, tracking customer credit and reviewing the numbers behind daily operations.

WHAT OCTECH BUILT

One operational platform.

  • Product catalog with categories, variants, SKU and barcode support.
  • Retail sales, supported payment methods and sales slips.
  • Location-based inventory, stock adjustments and low-stock visibility.
  • Customer records, credit ledgers and payment tracking.
  • Expenses and sales, profit, inventory and debt-aging reports.
  • Web and mobile workflows with branch and operator access controls.

CORE WORKFLOWS

Built around the work, not just the screens.

01

Record a sale

Select products → Cart → Payment → Sales slip → Stock movement

Cash, GCash, Maya, bank transfer and customer credit are supported in retail checkout.

02

Keep stock visible

Stock Overview → Sale or adjustment → Movement history → Low-stock review

Stock is tracked by location, with sellable branch stock and reserve warehouse or storage stock.

03

Track customer credit

Customer → Credit sale → Ledger charge → Outstanding balance → Record payment

The ledger separates charges, payments, adjustments and reversals, with a running balance.

04

Record operating expenses

Expense entry → Category and date → Branch context → Expense report

Expense records feed the reporting suite alongside sales and profit views.

05

Sell from mobile

Search or scan → Add to cart → Review total → Payment → Receipt

The mobile sales flow includes customer selection and checkout recovery for pending requests.

ENGINEERING / RELIABILITY

Designed for the details of an actual transaction.

Sales and stock stay connected

Checkout records sale-linked inventory deductions as part of a database transaction.

Reversals have a trace

Authorized retail voids record stock reversals and retain the original transaction context.

Stock policy is explicit

Negative-stock handling is controlled by store settings; the default policy does not allow it.

Access follows the operation

Retail checkout checks the company, branch and operator permissions before recording a sale.

History retains its context

Sale items preserve product, variant, SKU and price snapshots for historical transactions.

Implementation verified in the product source. Existing automated tests include negative-stock policy and retail void/restock assertions; no new product acceptance test run is claimed by this case study.

OCTECH’S ROLE

Product owner. Design and engineering team.

OCTECH designed and built the product architecture, web application, mobile selling experience, sales and inventory workflows, customer credit tracking, expenses and reporting.

This is an OCTECH-owned platform, not a third-party client engagement.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED

Implemented product workflows.

The source contains connected sales, inventory, customer, expense and reporting modules, with web and mobile selling experiences and automated workflow tests.

This case study documents those implemented capabilities. It does not claim customer adoption, commercial outcomes or a current production-readiness certification.
